Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026. These Terms apply to CineScribe, a product of AamroSoft LLC.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on CineScribe or by signing in, you ("User") enter into a binding agreement with AamroSoft LLC ("AamroSoft", "we", "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

CineScribe is a software-as-a-service tool that generates rich, written synopses for movies and television shows. The Service accepts two categories of input from the User: (a) a streaming viewing-history file voluntarily uploaded by the User, and (b) a direct title search entered by the User. CineScribe then retrieves metadata from third-party catalog sources and produces a written synopsis using large language model technology. Users may read, download, or share the synopses they generate, subject to these Terms.

3. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 16 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

CineScribe offers a free tier and paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Premium) billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Paid subscriptions auto-renew. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds will be issued except where required by applicable law. AamroSoft reserves the right to change pricing with thirty (30) days advance notice via email.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer the Service; use it to generate content that infringes third-party rights, defames any person, or violates applicable law; share credentials or create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits; upload malicious code, third-party personal data, or material you have no right to process; or abuse the API beyond the rate limits of your subscription tier.

6. Intellectual Property

The synopses generated by CineScribe are produced by a large language model acting on your inputs; you are granted a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, download, print, and share these synopses for personal or internal business purposes. AamroSoft retains all rights in the CineScribe software, interface, and trademarks. Movie and TV titles, posters, ratings, and cast data are the property of their respective rights holders.

7. Third-Party Services

CineScribe integrates with Firebase Authentication, Stripe, OMDb, TMDB, Google Books, Google Custom Search, Anthropic (for synopsis generation), and OpenAI (for audio narration). Your use of CineScribe is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers where your data transits their systems.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Synopses may contain factual errors or omissions; you should not rely on them as authoritative sources. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AamroSoft's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to AamroSoft in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. AamroSoft may suspend or terminate your account with written notice for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases; downloaded synopses remain yours.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be notified by email at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026. This policy applies to CineScribe, a product of AamroSoft LLC.

1. Who We Are

AamroSoft LLC is the data controller for personal information processed through CineScribe. We are organized under the laws of Delaware, United States, and we operate from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. What We Collect

We collect your email address, display name, subscription tier, the Firebase-hashed password, the list of movie and TV titles you have generated synopses for, the platform each was imported from, and timestamps. Uploaded viewing-history files are parsed in memory to extract titles and are not stored. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and we never see your card number. Standard request logs are retained up to thirty (30) days for security and debugging.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your social graph, contact list, real name beyond what you enter, precise location, biometric identifiers, or any data from your streaming account other than the titles you voluntarily upload. CineScribe will never scrape or access your streaming account directly.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to operate and secure your account, generate synopses you request, process subscription payments, respond to support requests, and send infrequent operational email (billing, policy changes, security incidents). We do not send marketing email unless you opt in separately.

5. Third-Party Processors

CineScribe runs on Google Cloud Run in the United States. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Synopsis generation is performed by Anthropic PBC, and audio narration by OpenAI, LLC. Catalog data is retrieved from OMDb, TMDB, and Google Custom Search. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing its portion of processing.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

CineScribe uses only essential cookies and local storage items: a Firebase session identifier to keep you signed in, and a small marker to remember that you accepted the Terms for the current session. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

7. Your Rights

You may access your stored data on your Library and Account pages, update your display name at any time, delete your account by contacting admin@aamroconnect.com, and export your archive using the ZIP download feature. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have additional rights (including portability and objection to processing) which we honor on written request.

8. Data Retention

Account data and your synopsis library are retained for as long as your account is active. Request logs are deleted after thirty days. Payment records are retained for seven years as required by tax and accounting law. Account deletion removes account and synopsis data within thirty days except for records we are legally required to retain.

9. International Transfers

CineScribe servers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States under the contractual protections provided by our cloud processors.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: TLS in transit, encryption at rest by our cloud provider, role-based access within our team, and strict content-security-policy headers on the frontend. No online service is completely secure; in the event of a material security incident affecting your data, we will notify you by email within seventy-two hours.

11. Children

CineScribe is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us at admin@aamroconnect.com.

12. Changes

We will notify you of material changes to this policy by email and by a banner on the application at least fourteen days before they take effect.
